We really do have the best supporters! We’d like to say a hearty congratulations and huge thank you to the winners of our last two Clip Clop Club 100 prize draws, all of whom have very kindly donated their winnings back to our group!
First prize of £50 in the April draw was won by Sheryl Glass, who said: “I know how hard it is to raise money these days and so I would like to give back the winnings I didn’t even expect in the first place!”
Our second winner, Clive Goodman, has also donated his £30 prize back. Clive said: “It is always a pleasure to support the RDA – the ponies and volunteers work so hard all year. What a tremendous charity.”
And third prize of £20 was won by Mary Dunlop, who said: “I am delighted to donate back my winnings to a group that is doing such great work.”
Our March winners were Wendy Fenemore, who has given her £50 first prize back. Wendy said: “What a fabulous surprise! I know first hand the great work Blairgowrie RDA does, so I’m very pleased to donate my prize to them.”
Second prize of £30 was won by Christine Beattie, who said: “RDA is a very worthwhile charity and it must give help, encouragement and pleasure to many people. I am delighted to contribute!”
And our £20 third prize winner David Parsons also kindly donated his winnings, saying: ”It’s a long time since I have bought anything horsey, so I have no idea how much anything costs! If the money goes some way to covering farrier costs or even buying a bale of hay or two, then I will know it has been put to good use.”
